public service workers.<\/p><p data-start=\"554\" data-end=\"624\">A person who wishes to become a member of this Cooperative must:<\/p><p data-start=\"629\" data-end=\"833\" class=\"translation-block\">(a) Be a Malaysian citizen;\n(b) Be at least eighteen years old;\n(c) Reside, work, or own land within the operational area of this Cooperative; and\n(d) Not be a person who:<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">(i) Has been declared mentally incapacitated;\n(ii) Is an undischarged bankrupt;\n(iii) Has been convicted of a criminal offense that legally disqualifies them from membership; or\n(iv) Has been expelled from membership under the Act and has not completed the required one-year waiting
